A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Delta II launch vehicle has been launched successfully with Dawn at Cape Canaveral. The ‘Dawn‘ spacecraft built by Orbital Sciences is on his way to the asteroids Vesta and Ceres. Dawn is set to explore Vesta and dwarf planet Ceres, two of the largest bodies in the asteroid belt.
