Snow in Tejon Pass in California

Bad weather and snow in Tejon Pass in California forced the closure of California’s major north-south interstate 5. (over the mountains between Castaic Junction and Grapevine)

After a frigid storm snow covered the mountain pass north of Los Angeles Thursday leaving 300 to 400 vehicles traveling north and south stranded in the snow in Tejon Pass.

Authorities and emergency crews worked to open the highway and were helping the hundreds of vehicles.
